Ceciiiiiilia~ Heh. I love drawing her ..... no idea why. Maybe the ears. Maybe the knowledge that once I finish drawing her I'll get to colour her blue. Maybe the fact that I can draw her face different each time and still have it be the same person. Anyway, this one is more similar to that first-ever drawing I did of her than my plaid-skirt one from a few weeks ago. Random fun fun with the background .... and left it rather large (resized to 45% once finished; i did all my colouring before resizing, which seemed to be troublesome for my poor computer ...) Uhhhhhhh .... ain't she a cute kid.
Feel free to critique if you like that sort of thing!
's so CUUUUUUUUUTE I best like the smattering of stars in the background. And her darkness-rich shading. And yes her cute face. Sweetness.
That is a VERY nice blue
Wow, this is very unusual compared to what I am used to seeing from you ^^ Unlike your fluffy drawings, which I adore also, this picture is more serious. Though it's not hardcore serious O_o Maybe like a manga written for older teens rather than very young teens, if you follow me. Her hair is so chalky! Not only the texture with which you colored it, but the colors themselves lend to the chalky feeling. Don't get the wrong impression either, because the girl's body outline is kinda messy as well, the chalkiness is a compliment to the image.
Her skin is a big contrast to the rest of the drawing however, still it does not clash at all! I think it is because rather than a color contrast it is a texture contrast. The majority of the picture is comprised of grainy, random-ish lines, while her skin is very smooth. It adds to the 'outer space' theme.
lol, "Random fun fun" *glomp*

This is an awful lot like the first picture you drew of her! ^_^ I absolutely adore the background. You really should be illustrating for children's books; you would be great at it!
Aww, thank you!! Such a thoughtful comment ^ˆ^ I'm glad you think everything worked together ... I like smooth nice colours but ... I didn't wanna spend time making my lineart all pretty ^ˆ^;; Plus I like my sketch lines more than my "finished"-looking lines, in most cases. Thank you so much!! *grins*
Oh, she's adorable! The coloring really grabs my eye, and how vibrantly it stands out against the background.
